M57 Oilcooler Adapter

This oil cooler adapter replaces the factory heat exchanger of the BMW M57 engine and enables the installation of an external oil cooler.

Especially under sustained high load – such as drifting, motorsport, or off-road use – the factory heat exchanger quickly reaches its thermal limits. Using an external oil cooler helps maintain more stable oil temperatures and reduces the thermal stress placed on the engine.

Particularly in situations involving low vehicle speeds combined with high engine load, as commonly experienced in drift applications, a properly designed oil cooling system plays a critical role in maintaining stable engine temperatures.

Manufactured from high-quality 6061 aluminum and precision CNC-machined for maximum fitment accuracy and reliability even under extreme conditions.

Thread Connections

• 1x M22x1.5 for the coolant connection
• 2x M16x1.5 for the oil lines

For optimal fitment, we recommend using no larger than Dash-12 fittings on the outlet and Dash-10 fittings on the return line. Larger fittings may result in clearance issues during assembly.
