M47 Oil Cooler Adapter

This oil cooler adapter replaces the factory oil-to-coolant heat exchanger on BMW M47TU and M47TU2 engines, allowing the installation of an external oil cooler. Not compatible with first-generation non-TU M47 engines.

Under sustained high-load conditions, such as drifting, motorsport, or off-road use, the factory heat exchanger can quickly reach its thermal limits. An external oil cooler helps maintain more stable oil temperatures and reduces thermal stress on the engine.

Especially at low vehicle speeds combined with high engine loads, as commonly seen in drifting, an efficient oil cooling system plays a crucial role in maintaining stable engine temperatures.

Manufactured from high-quality 6061 aluminum and precision CNC-machined for optimal fitment and reliability, even under extreme conditions.
